Jeremy

Jeremy is the most famous vampire hunter of his day. He is very religious and protects mankind by hunting and killing hundreds of vampires. He is less than thrilled when he realises that his last chance of protecting the seal of blood is to bond with a vampire, but he is determined to do his utmost to to save mankind… and then destroy the vampiress.
 
Full of loathing and disgust, he endures the ritual. In a dramatic fight, Jeremy is infected by a vampire and turns into one of these creatures of the night. Still bonded to Alysa, the arch enemies are forced to fight alongside each other against their former allies.

The only way to separate the enemies is for Jeremy to revert to human form… but is this indeed possible?

Alysa

Castello

Castello is the second highest-ranking member in Jeremy’s unit, and therefore Jeremy’s second-in-command. Castello does not question the motives of Rome, and carries out every mission with great zeal.
 
Vampires are his deadly enemies, and not even the strongest bond of friendship would convince him otherwise. If Jeremy were ever to become one of them, he would know exactly what to do… and should such a tragic event befall him, Castello would of course be promoted to leader of the unit…

Blood Fox

While Alysa belongs to the warrior clan of the vampires and, as such, obeys a strict hierarchy, Blood Fox is a free spirit.
 
Her families move easily through the dark forests of the Carpathians, flout all the rules, and take what they think is rightfully theirs; the blood of any human. Blood Fox loves hunting and setting traps; for her, humans are merely prey.

Bartholomew

Bartholomew is a true servant of Rome, and has been with Jeremy’s unit for many years helping him to track down and kill vampires. Bartholomew is an expert in the art of healing and at driving stakes through the hearts of vampires.
 
His soul is pure however, which leads to conflict, particularly when he is forced to choose between his heart and his head. He hopes he will never be faced with that dilemma, but finds out that he is wrong…
